We are looking for a Senior Level HR Manager to join our team within the enterprise. Our ideal candidate is a culture-builder with strong interpersonal relationships, who is business minded, self-motivated, and has exceptional people skills and a values-driven leadership style. This seasoned HR professional should have experience working with a bilingual workforce. You will be responsible for the administration and performance of the Human Resources operations. This includes performance management, training and development, legal compliance, compensation administrations, benefits administration, employee engagement/relations, and safety and health regulations. Applicants with less than 6 years' experience in a key HR leadership role will not be considered.


The primary role for this position is to provide oversight of policies and procedures, systems, documents, reporting, and responses pertaining to human resources issues.  This role is critical in the overall management and implementation of employee matters including but not limited to hiring, retention, and termination as well as policy review, and oversight of payroll entries and data reporting.  As such, this position would have reporting responsibilities to the Compliance Director and other management regarding the cost, scope, and progress of related projects.

Required Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Supervisory Responsibilities-Leads a team of exempt and non-exempt Human Resources staff members.
  • Set an example for HR staff and others by leadership, mentoring and support of the organization
  • Be consistent in attendance and exhibit strong competency in job skills and performance
  • Be professional in dress, communication and actions
  • Oversee new employee integration and new hire orientation activities
  • Maintain employee records & respond to employment verifications
  • Approve background checks and return to work documentation
  • Provide guidance in employee disciplinary and retention efforts, conduct exit interviews
  • Work with Compliance to develop policies for employee handbooks and other documents
  • Facilitate Workers Compensation claims along with proper reporting, follow-up, and corrective action
  • Assist in the assessment of staffing requirements
  • Process employee status changes and pay increases, assisting as needed
  • Record, track and monitor employee leave time
  • Investigate employee issues, recommend appropriate action, and counsel/train where necessary
  • Direct the preparation, review, and distribution of job descriptions and performance evaluation reminders
  • Gather audit and regulatory reporting data, respond to related inquiries
  • Perform other related duties as required and assigned
  • Extended work hours required from time-to-time, especially during special projects
  • Special Projects-As assigned by senior management, projects may at times fall outside the scope of normal human resources responsibilities.

  • Intermediate or advanced skills using Microsoft Office
  • Strong mathematical skills
  • Impeccable attention to detail
  • Strong organizational skills
  • HR certification required SHRM-CP or equivalent
  • Documentation and corporate policy experience a plus
  • Demonstrated leadership qualities
  • Experienced in managing concurrent projects and deadlines

Education & Experience:

  • Associates degree or higher; minimum 6 years of Human Resources experience
  • HR certification Preferred SHRM-CP or equivalent

Must be authorized to work in the United States and successfully pass a comprehensive criminal background investigation.
